I think most people force themselves into a false dichotomy. Business me/ personal me.

This is ALL me.

The site says Dufferin Research and I’m Rick. So, what?

At one time we were one and the same, a sole proprietor doing the online market research thing from a home office, back in the day, circa Y2K. Now I pay rent and huge utility bills and have employees who slave away doing the “real” work.

But the company is still a large part of who I am, and why I do what I do. And I am still the ‘face’ of the company, and while maybe we could use a new prettier face or maybe a face lift, that isn’t coming anytime soon, so you’re stuck with my mug.

In time you may like it.

And along the way, we can have a laugh once in a while, because we all need it.

We are people first, job functions second. Cheers.
